across the waterline
for something I'm told I will not find

rivers with bridges I have burned
and lets not goto the coast
we all know where it flows
maybes its time to walk alone, or maybe its time to reflect on how we've grown
an awful truth, I fear we neglectin awe of, another prospect
and I try to say this with all respects
but I think you overlook what you should protect
in awe of a false prophet or your profits
when will have the time to look back
and reflect on life's deeper subjects
or do we simply not have time?
must we move forward alone?
is this all self reflection?
can we not share how we have grown?
inside of our hearts, outside of our minds
unconscious dreams escaping the fabrics of space and time
